Cardi B Confirms Secret Marriage To Offset In 2017

Cardi B has confirmed that she and Offset got secretly married last year.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper, who officially got married on 20th September 2017, released a lengthy statement to her fans after TMZ leaked their marriage certificate.
According to the publication, the pair wed using their legal names Kiari Kendrell Cephus and Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar in Fulton County, Ga.
Cardi has now clarified why they chose to keep the news a huge secret.
“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself!” said Cardi.
“Getting married was one of those moments!”

Interestingly, she also addressed Offset’s ‘fake’ proposal to her at Philadelphia’s Powerhouse concert.
“I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!”
TMZ claim that Cardi B and Offset actually got married in a bedroom.
However the pair still have plans to have an official wedding ceremony after Cardi B gives birth to their first child in July.
