Skepta Exclusively Reveals That Idris Elba Is On His 'Shutdown Remix'

Skepta has revealed that he's bagged Idris Elba for the official remix of his latest single 'Shutdown.'

The North London-born Grime MC broke the news last night on The Norté Show in an exclusive interview with Manny Norté, saying that there is also another big name rapper who will feature alongside them both on the track.

"Shutdown remix. Skepta. Idris Elba and another big rapper" he revealed live on the show. "Featuring someone else, another big rapper, it's game over."

Last month Idris Elba posted an video of himself rapping along to 'Shutdown' on Twitter, sending it directly to Skepta with the caption "put me on the remix!!!"

"Basically a lot of people have asked to jump on Shutdown remix, i'm not gonna front," Skepta added. "But cause of quality control we wanted to make it really big, it's all about spreading the British sound and culture."

Skepta dropped the official music video for 'Shutdown,' which sees him take over the streets of London's Barbican, over the weekend.
