1. 1999: Ja Rule was robbed at gunpoint in Queens, New York.
The rapper was shooting a music video when he was robbed for his chain by one of 50's affiliates. 50 claims that Ja later ran into them both at the club, and was frosty towards 50 following the incident. However, Ja Rule denies seeing them together, although he did confirm that the robbery happened, and says their beef stems from 50 being snubbed by Murder Inc. during a shoot for his single 'Murda 4 Life.' 2. 1999: 50 Cent releases his diss track 'Life's On The Line'.
In October that same year, 50 released his first diss track aimed at Ja Rule and Murder Inc.
