Beyoncé's Director Takes You Behind The Scenes On Music Videos 'Partition' And 'Flawless'

The man that has been directing Beyonce's music videos for 12 years, Jake Nava, gives an intimate insight into the making of 'Grown Woman,' 'Partition' and 'Flawless.'

The director of some of Beyonce's best known and most loved music videos, Jake Nava, has given fans special access behind the scenes of Bey's most recent videos 'Partition,' 'Grown Woman' and Flawless.'

In a new video released on Beyonce's YouTube page, Nava - who has been directing videos for Beyoncé as far back as 'Crazy In Love' and 'Beautiful Liar,' - reveals the emotional reasoning and technical know-how behind the videos. 

"When Beyonce called me about working on the Partition video, Beyonce was sort of seeking to be even more risky then she's been in the past" Said Nava. "The fact that Jay Z was in the video was really exciting. She wanted to kind of make it feel seductive... I tried to capture genuine intimacy between them." 

Nava also reveals how Beyonce's creative input has changed over the 12 years, and especially since becoming a mum.

"No matter what idea I may bring to the party she steps up with as much if not more in terms of what she brings to it."
