Beyoncé's Father Matthew Knowles Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Matthew Knowles is set to discuss his breast cancer diagnosis on Good Morning America in his first interview since the diagnosis.
Beyoncé and Solange's father Matthew Knowles has been diagnosed with breast cancer, Good Morning America exclusively revealed ahead of an interview with the music executive.

It's not yet known how or when he received the diagnosis, but Matthew Knowles will reveal all during a on-on-one chat with Michael Strahan shortly.
63-year-old Matthew Knowles was formerly Destiny's Child's manager during the peak of the band's career, whilst he has also managed both of his daughters, Beyoncê and Solange during their solo careers.
Knowles was married to his daughters' mother Tina Knowles between 1980 and 2011 when the couple split. He is currently married to Gina Avery and has two other children.
According to reports, men make up just 1% of breast cancer diagnosis, however men between the ages of 60 to 70 are the most commonly diagnosed.
