Cardi found out she had been nominated for five Grammy awards while leaving court on Friday and her reaction was caught on the news.
Cardi B was in court on Friday December 7 on matters having to do with an alleged strip club altercation earlier this year. The rapper has had a whirlwind week, announcing her separation from husband Offset and earning five Grammy nominations for her work on Invasion of Privacy.
Cardi called her life "a movie" for the unusual way she found out she had been nominated for five Grammy awards. As she left court on Friday she was asked by a reporter how it felt to be nominated.
"I am?" she responded in the video, later asking, "how many?"

"What a way to find out I got 5 Grammys nominations. I'm tellin you my life is a movie," she wrote on Instagram.
The rapper also shared the video on Twitter, writing that she needed a "do over" on how she found out about the nominations.

Cardi is nominated for record of the year for “I Like It” and Album of The Year for Invasion of Privacy. She also received a Best Rap Album nod and Best Rap Performance nomination for "Be Careful". Her collaboration with Maroon 5 "Girls Like You" (remix) is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance as well.
Meanwhile, Cardi also shared the first public photo of her and Offset's daughter Kulture, this week, calling the baby her "heart" in a touching post.
