Cardi B Clapped Back At Someone Who Tried To Criticise Her Pregnancy On Twitter

The rapper responded to a fan who reportedly said she could be going on tour "but instead Offset got her pregnant."
Cardi B has fired back at a fan who reportedly criticised her pregnancy on Twitter. According to Buzzfeed, a fan tweeted that the star "would be goin' on tour right now, performing at the BET awards, gettin $$$. But instead Offset got her pregnant."
Cardi responded to the since-deleted tweet, expressing that her baby was her "biggest gift" and that she felt "happy and motivated" by her unborn child. In a series of tweets, Cardi addressed the idea that she was missing out on opportunities due to her pregnancy.

Cardi is nearing the end of her pregnancy with her first child and has worked steadily since debuting her bump on SNL in April.
Cardi's pregnancy has not stopped her from attending career defining engagements, either. The "Be Careful" rapper performed at both the Billboard Latin Music Awards and Coachella while heavily pregnant.
Earlier this year, Cardi addressed critics on the same issue. In an interview with Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club, Cardi defended herself against people who assumed her career was over. "Why do I have to choose between a career and a baby? I want both," the rapper said.
