Posing in her latest collection from her underwear range Savage X Fenty, Rihanna - real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty - can be seen laying on her stomach on a duvet in the steamy snap.
Just hours after the photo was posted, the singer's ex-boyfriend Brown, 30, dropped three separate comments which sparked angry comments from some of her fans.
"I wanna be the lamp," wrote Brown, referring to the lamp lying next to Rihanna, 31, on the bed. The R&B singer also commented two face emojis, one smirking and one looking stunned.
Breezy's comments ignited backlash from some of Rihanna's followers, fuelled by the former couple's controversial past. In 2009, Brown infamously physically assaulted his then-girlfriend.
"He needs to get tf ASAP," wrote one. "Still disrespectful I see, she has a whole man!!" wrote another, while someone else wrote, "He needs to go somewhere else with that thirst..."
Rihanna is currently dating billionaire businessman Hassan Jameel, while Brown has recently been linked to model - and suspected baby mama - Ammika Harris.
Last week, Rihanna was faced with pregnancy speculation yet again after fans were convinced they spotted her with a 'baby bump' in footage from her annual Diamond Ball.
The singer is yet to speak out on the speculation. She was, however, captured sipping on a glass of champagne at another point during the night.
