Could they be part of a track from his forthcoming album?
Drake debuted a new freestyle on the Detroit stop of his Jungle Tour.
In the previously unheard verses, the Toronto rapper touches on his friendships and his musical direction as well as taking the time to fire off a few cryptic shots.
"Cause '’m in the club every time that they play the competition, if they even play the competition / And I see no response they get, nobody’s even hearing it," rapped Drake, alluding to an unnamed rivalry.
It’s unclear whether the verses are a taster of his forthcoming album, ‘Views From The 6’, due later this year.
The 'Take Care' rapper's whistle-stop tour of the US takes in just six dates including a homecoming in Toronto. Drizzy is also planning to make his way over to the UK this summer where he's performing at Wireless Festival.
