The 'In My Feelings' rapper revealed the news during a Canadian show on his 'Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour', promising that he'll "get to work" on a follow-up to 2018's 'Scorpion' as soon as the tour wraps.
Drake may be busy selling our arenas on his 'Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour', but the OVO hitmaker isn't ready to slow down any time soon.
During a recent show in Edmonton, Canada, the 32-year-old rapper promised his audience that he'll begin working on the follow-up album to 2018's 'Scorpion' as soon as the tour wraps.
Drake’s New Album 2019: Release Date, Songs, Tracklist & Everything You Need To Know
"Six shows left. I guess most people would go on a vacation, or I don’t know what they do… I’ma tell you what I’ma do,” he told the crowd. “Because I keep having nights like this that remind me why I love my job so much."
"I promise you that as soon as this tour is over–and maybe I’ll take, like, a little break–I’ma get right to work on a new album, so we can be right back here and have a new party.”
And if the lyrics on 'Scorpion' are anything to go by, this will be Drake's last album for Cash Money Records. "Soon as the album drop, I’m out of the deal,” he raps on 'Is There More'.
Previous reports claimed that when Drizzy leaves Cash Money and signs on to his next deal, he'll "have another release ready to drop to accompany the news".

This was, however, shut down by a source from Universal who insisted that the Canadian chart-topper wouldn't be leaving the imprint "anytime soon."
Meanwhile, the 'Nonstop' rapper has just a handful of shows left on his tour with Migos. During its extensive run, special guest appearances have included Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Post Malone, Shiggy and more.
