Hear The Original Demo For Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'
12 years after its original release, Eminem has revealed that there is an alternate version of 'Lose Yourself' that nobody has heard, but he will be releasing soon.
Speaking in a promo clip for his Beats documentary for 'Lose Yourself,' Shady admitted that he didn't actually remember recording the other, unheard version of the track.
"I don’t even remember recording [it]. I don't even remember where I was at when I recorded it. I don’t remember any of the first verse. I don’t remember it. So he (points to someone off camera) called me one day and told me about it. I was like, 'What?;" He was like, "Remember the scratched version of 'Lose Yourself'. I was like, "No, I don’t.'"
Throughout the black and white video new lyrics are heard against the familiar beat, before the track goes into the classic "Lose yourself in this music..."
"If I was froze inside of a moment/ If I could capture time inside a capsule/ Then I could try to channel it through Cadillacs and Nuicks" Eminem raps; "And that's when you hit the roof because you can't sit through it/ Just lose yourself in this music, this moment."
