J. Cole has surprised fans with the release of a new freestyle called ‘Album Of The Year’.
The Dreamville rapper, who is about to start his ‘KOD’ tour, has dropped a huge new freestyle over Nas & Bravehearts’ ‘Oochie Wally’ instrumental.
Cole flexes his lyrical skill while rapping about buying the Mavericks in 10 years and sending some veiled shots at younger rappers in the industry.
“Lil rappers, I love you, but you ain’t sh*t till you got offers in Prague,” he raps.
He also confidently declares that ‘KOD’ is “album of the year, undebatably” before boasting about his flow.
“My cadence be the greatest we’ve seen since the late MC, whose name was the Notorious,” he raps.
Interestingly, Cole teased a new mixtape called ‘The Off-Season’, which will arrive before his next full-length studio album ‘The Fall Off’.
At the start of the song’s music video, he writes: “What you are about to witness is a master class on preparation.
Meanwhile, J. Cole’s US tour starring Young Thug and Jaden Smith starts on 9thAugust in Miami and ends on 10th October in Boston.
