Kim Kardashian has claimed that Kanye West is close to becoming a billionaire.
The reality star, whose half-sister Kylie Jenner was recently revealed as a self-made billionaire in-waiting, made the interesting admission during a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel.
After she was asked if she was “almost a billionaire,” she replied: “I would say my husband is, so that makes me one right? Close by proximity.”

Interestingly, Kanye West has been very public about his financial struggles in the past, famously asking Facebook owner Mark Zuckerburg for money in 2016 after claiming he was $53 million in debt.
Yeezy was also missing from Forbes recent World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities list, with Kylie Jenner being revealed as third – bringing in $166.5 million in 2017.
During the interview, Kim Kardashian also discussed her relationship with Kylie Jenner following her huge financial rise.
“We learn a lot from each other and we’re very supportive,” she said.
“We both have completely different audiences and different make-up techniques and everything – it’s really different. I’m so happy for her.”
Meanwhile, Kanye West is rumoured to appear on Travis Scott’s anticipated new album ‘Astroworld’, which is set for release on Friday 3rd August.
