Kanye West reportedly cancelled his anticipated Carpool Karaoke appearance three times, which cost James Corden over £35,000.
The rapper, who is a very big fan of the viral TV skit, had previously agreed to take part in his own edition.
However during the latest episode of James Corden’s The Late Late Show, the TV show host revealed why Kanye West has yet to take the hot seat in his car.
"We’ve tried! He cancelled twice! Maybe even three times," Corden told Kris Jenner during a segment called ‘Spill Your Guts Or Fill Your Guts’.
He added: “[Kanye] cancelled once as I was turning the corner to his house. I was in a car, and by the time the call finished, I was sat outside his house and they were like, ‘He’s not in the zone for it right now. We’ll do it another time.’”
As an apology for the cancellations Kanye apparently sent James Corden some flowers and also gifted him a free pair of Yeezys.
“People were like, ‘Woah, they’re so expensive,’” Corden said.
“And I was like, ‘Yeah! They cost my show $45,000! But, we love him, he’s my dream! He knows that. He’s my absolute dream and we sit and wait … That’s exactly why.”
Kanye West is yet to respond to James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke story.
However it was recently revealed that Kanye West is very close to becoming a billionaire.
According to reports, the rapper’s Yeezy company has been valued at close to $1bn.
