Here's the full version of the audio Kendrick Lamar used in 'Mortal Man.'
Kendrick Lamar released his highly anticipated sophomore album almost two years to the day after Tupac's legendary 'Me Against The World' was introduced to the world.
Judging by K. Dot's closing track on the album, 'Mortal Man,' a song that features snippets of an interview with Tupac, this was not a coincidence.
The audio, it has come to light, is from an interview Pac did on a Swedish radio station in November 1994, two weeks before he was shot in Quad Studios.
Above, hear part one of six of the full interview Tupac gave that day in '94 and check out the rest below.
Stars including Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Taylor Swift have congratulated Kendrick Lamar on 'To Pimp A Butterfly' on Twitter, while much of the rest of the social network has been busy comparing the new album to Drake's latest release 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late.'
