Krept And Konan Exclusive: “We’re Dominating Hip Hop"

The Hip Hop duo spoke to us backstage at last night's MOBOs.

Krept and Konan have stated they are dominating Hip Hop this year, after winning two MOBO awards at last night’s ceremony for ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Hip Hop Act’. 

Speaking exclusively to Capital XTRA backstage, Konan has revealed that their success is sending a message to the music industry: “It just shows that we are still doing our thing and still dominating," he said.

“A lot of people win awards and the next year they aren’t here.” 

He continued: “We’re here again, winning again and showing that we’re dominating Hip Hop and we run this.”

Meanwhile, the South London duo also hit the MOBOs stage to perform a medley of ‘Fallin’, ‘Certified’ and ‘Freak Of The Week’, alongside a live band.

Other acts performing on the night included Rita Ora, Lethal Bizzle, FKA Twigs, Ella Eyre and more.
