At the age of just 17, Martin Garrix is on the cusp of becoming a superstar. The Dutch DJ recently became the first EDM signing to Scooter Braun's management company, which is home to the likes of Ariana Grande, and had a number one single with the big room anthem that is 'Animals'.

We couldn't resist the opportunity to speak to Martin about how he made the track, as well as how ask him about how he got into DJ'ing and production, and his plans for the future, which will include a tour of Asia and hopefully a full studio album.

During his masterclass with Capital XTRA's Coco Cole, Martin also shows off how to use mixer effects to hype up the crowd while DJ'ing.
