This is what happens when you don't have Rihanna's money.

Rihanna took a break from making music this week to celebrate April Fools' Day by pulling off the ultimate prank on US TV host Jimmy Kimmel.

At 1am and covered by darkness, Kimmel's wife Molly snuck Rihanna and a camera crew into their home, up the stairs and let the singer into their bedroom, where her husband was tucked up in bed fast asleep.

Fitted with flash lights, instruments and backing dancers, Rihanna burst into a rendition of her new song 'B*tch Better Have My Money,' jumping on Kimmel's bed and giving him quite the fright. 

Rihanna unveiled the new song, taking from her upcoming album, last week and went on to perform it live for the first time at the iHeartRadio Awards, where she arrived by helicopter.
