Rihanna Finally Confirms A Release Date For Her New Album

The 'Needed Me' songstress sent fans into a frenzy this week after confirming the release date of her upcoming new album, affectionally called '#R9'.
It's the news all Rihanna fans have been waiting for - the 30-year-old Bajan beauty is dropping a new album next year.
Three year after the release of he previous album 'ANTI', which birthed hits including 'Work', 'Needed Me' and 'Love On The Brain', Rihanna is set to drop her next record in 2019.

The songstress confirmed the news on Instagram after a fan questioned her on the album's release. "But when is the album dropping Robyn? Can we have a release date for that?"
"2019," Rihanna replied, sending fans into a frenzy. Just last week, Rihanna's vocal producer Kuk Harrell described her upcoming ninth studio album as "amazing."
"It's incredible, and that's all I'm going to say," he added, without giving a release date.
Earlier this year, the Fenty Beauty entrepreneur confirmed that she's been working on new music while also focusing on her other interests and career paths.
"Simultaneously doing lingerie, makeup, film, amongst a couple other things that I enjoy," she wrote on Instagram. "When the music is ready, you won't have to ask for it. But it's coming."
As well as new music, Rihanna is expected to return to acting as she stars in Childish Gambino's new project 'Guava Island', which also stars Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie.
