Rihanna's new album is set to release sooner than we thought, it seems, as the 'Needed Me' hitmaker's best friend teased on social media.
Rihanna fans - your time is almost here. The 31-year-old Bajan beauty has been cooking her ninth studio album for a while now, and it looks like it's ready.

Rihanna's best friend Jennifer Rosales, who also happens to be the Project Manager of Fenty Corp., took her baby boy to see Aunt RiRi in the studio and gave away a major teaser about the hotly-anticipated album.
"When tia @badgalriri gives you the first listen. #newmusic" she captioned an adorable image of her son in headphones, and, to be honest, his little face says it all.

Rihanna reported the image on her own page, thanking her friends for "blessing my day a lil mo." The album, affectionally called #R9 by fans, is currently unnamed and will be her latest album since 2016's ANTI.
Back in January, Bad Gal's producer The Dream confirmed that the new project was almost finished. "She's cooking, she's about done," he said. "She's about done. Super close."
At the end of 2018, Ri also confirmed that the album would be dropping in 2019. A rumoured collaboration with PartyNextDoor surfaced, but no songs have officially been released yet.
