Stormzy's Appearance In Malorie Blackman's 'Noughts + Crosses' Is "Dream Come True"

Stormzy is set to star in a new drama called 'Noughts +Crooses' based on the books by author Malorie Blackman.
Stormzy is no stranger to acting as he's already appeard in shows like 'Chewing Gum' and also hit film 'Brotherhood' - but it's now been revealed he's set to star in a new show based on a series of books by respected author Malore Blackman.

Ahead of his much-hyped headline slot at Glastonbury Festival in June, the 'Big For Your Boots' rapper will play a newspaper editor named Kolawale during the upcoming series and he's revealed how excited he is to be taking part.
Talking to Radio Times, Stormzy explained, “As a diehard fan of Malorie’s novels, being a part of this important show is a dream come true.”
Malorie Blackman also spoke out about Stormzy's casting and said, “The first time I met Stormzy he informed me he was a huge fan of my Noughts and Crosses series of books. I’m thrilled he will now be a part of the Noughts + Crosses TV production. It’s so exciting!”
The Noughts + Crosses book series depicts an alternative history during which African people gained cultural superiority over the European people, with African people making Europeans their slaves and it's set in 21st-century Britain.
