Global's Make Some Noise: The Final Total

Here's how much you raised on Global's Make Some Noise Day.

On 9th October, the whole of Global, including Capital XTRA, came together to support Global's Make Some Noise, our new national charity that helps disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK. 

We're thrilled to announce that the first ever Make Some Noise day raised £1,110,815.

This year's Make Some Noise Day saw some of the world's biggest DJs deliver some world exclusive mixes, including David Guetta, Sigma and Matrix & Futurebound.

Martin Garrix also dropped an amazing 30-minute mix that you can listen back to now.

That's not all. 

Tim Westwood took over drivetime on Capital XTRA with a very special one-hour edition of Reloaded, full of old-school jams back to back. 

One lucky Capital XTRA listener won the chance to have the Big Dawg DJ at their house, while we also gave away an incredible Apple technology bundle.

Earlier in the day, some of the team from ACLT, one of the charities Capital XTRA is working with as part of Make Some Noise, stopped by to discuss why it's so important that people help out.
