Here's everything you need to know about 'Thotiana' rapper Blueface, who's being compared to the equally controversial Tekashi 6ix9ine.....
Blueface was born in Los Angeles. As a child he lived with his mother in San Fernando Valley before living with his father in Oakland.
Blueface's real name is Jonathan Porter, however he's more commonly known by his aliases Blueface Bleedem or just simply Blueface.
The 'Thotiana' rapper is 22 years old. Blueface's birthday is on 20th January 1997.
For Hip Hop purists, certain Blueface lyrics such as “It’s two dicks in my pants for a n***a that’s trippin” and “Her ass look like two midgets in a sleeping bag” will come as a bit of a shock.
The rapper's legal issues and uniques style has meant he's faced controversy from the start, so his controversial lyrics wil be the least of his worries.
Blueface raps off-beat in a non-traditional style that makes him pretty unique in the rap game. He's not the first to do it and it's a technique that other artists such as Lil Yachty have used in the recent past.
Because of its non-traditional style, Blueface's rapping has been ridiculed by some people who have labelled him "the end of rap music".
Blueface's song 'Thotiana' became his biggest hit to date when it hit the top 100 on the US Billboard chart. He released a 'Thotiana Remix' with YG a while later and the track quickly went viral online.
The music videos for both 'Thotiana' and the remix have amassed over 20 million views collectively.
In Blueface's song 'Thotiana' he raps about wanting to see a woman named Thotiana buss-down, however other than Thotiana herself Blueface doesn't name drop anyone else, so her true identity remains a mystery.
With his off-beat style of rapping gaining plenty of attention on social media, the music video for Blueface's song 'Bleed It' was widely used as an example of this new breed of rap. It's gained over 31 million views already despite only being released in December 2018.
LA rapper Blueface has made no secret of his affiliation to the notorious Crip gang and he regularly references them in his music. Naming his 2018 projecy 'Famous Cryp' was a nod to his gang status and he's alwats seen in the gang's blue colours.
When he was in college, Blueface was a star quarterback, winning the East Valley League championship in 2014 with Arleta High School.
The rapper allegedly threw 1,234 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2013 and 1,724 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2014 before moving on to briefly play college football before making his name as a rapper.
According to various sources online, Bluefaces' net worth is estimated to be around $700,000.
In early 2019, Lil Baby announced that he was going on tour and he brought both Blueface and rap duo City Girls with him. The tour was named 'The New Generation Tour'.
