Ed revealed the news on Capital XTRA In The Morning With Jez Welham.
Ed Sheeran has exclusively revealed that he is giving Wembley Stadium a miss for his next tour.
The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer memorably sold-out three nights at the famous London venue in 2015.
However Ed has deliberately chosen to scale down the size of the venues he plans to perform at.
"This time, I didn't want to go straight into stadiums. I wanted to get the tour good first." he revealed on Capital XTRA In The Morning With Jez Welham.
Watch a snippet from the interview below:
"We are doing smaller shows... It's mad to say an arena is a small show cause it's not, but it was a conscious decision not to book a load of Wembley's this year."
So far, there is currently no more information about Ed's upcoming tour.
Ed Sheeran recently returned from his lengthy absence with two new songs ‘Shape Of You’ And ‘Castle On The Hill’.
Meanwhile, the British singer is rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury festival this year.
