John Legend Wants You To Know The Truth About That Kim Kardashian Grammys Selfie

All is not what it seems.
It's fair to say that the main shock of the 2015 Grammy awards came when the 'Album Of The Year' award was presented to Beck over Beyoncé, who Kanye West made clear he thought should have won the gong.
As Yeezy half-jokingly stormed the stage to make a point about the decision, Kim Kardashian posted a tweet from the audience that showed herself, John Legend's and Chrissy Teigen pulling 'shocked' faces. It was captioned "This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!"

The tweet has been regarded by many as a dig at Beck, insinuating that no one thought he would, or could, win it.
But John Legend has taken to his Twitter to let the public know that the selfie is not what it seems. The 'Glory' singer has insisted that it was taken before Beck was even announced as the winner of the award.
Congrats to all winners, including @beck. Much respect. That selfie was taken before Album of the Year was announced.

Not that being shocked he won would have been a sin. Every article I've read about it said it was surprising. He's still a great artist.

Kanye West however, clearly does think that Beck winning the 'Best Album Award' is a sin. After nearly interrupting his acceptance speech, the 'Bound 2' rapper commented that Beck should give his award to Beyoncé.
