In 2018's 'Legends', which featured on the Chicago-born rapper's EP 'Too Soon' released that year, Juice raps about not "making it past 21".
"What’s the 27 Club? / We ain’t making it past 21”, he raps on the track. "They tell me I’m-a be a legend / I don’t want that title now / ‘Cause all the legends seem to die out / What the f*** is this about?"
The infamous '27 Club' is a term used to refer to the growing group of legendary musicians who passed away at the age of 27, including Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain.
Tragically, the song 'Legends' was written in honour of rapper XXXTentacion, who was shot dead in 2018 at just 20-years-old. The EP itself was also dedicated to rapper Lil Peep, who died in 2017 at the age of 21 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl and Xanax.
At the beginning of December, the rapper tweeted, "This life is yours do what tf you want do great things and change the world don’t let no one tell you SH*T.. and you’ll be bigger than “juice wrld” will ever be, and he’s going down as a legend - Jarad."

As TMZ reported, Juice WRLD, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, suffered a seizure while walking through Chicago's Midway airport, and was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Higgins was still conscious after being rushed to hospital, but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later. His cause of death remains unclear at present.
