Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has received brutal backlash for her recent "dieting joke" caption on a photo of babies True & Chicago.

While the family are on vacation in the Bahamas, they have been flooding their Instagram pages with beautiful photos. However, Khloe has come under scrutiny from fans who believe her joke about True and Chicago calorie counting is "horrible".

On Monday (Aug 19) Khloe posted a photo of True and Chi eating Cheetos Puffs and Garden Veggie Straws.

However, the Good American owner made a caption about calorie counting, which is caused controversy online. The caption read: "Chi: I heard my mama say 'vacation calories don't count'."True: Don’t tell me twice Chi."

While Khloe is clearly making a joke, some of her fans didn't take the caption lightly as they're just babies. One Twitter user wrote "Calories and children do not need to be in the same sentence even if it’s a joke".

Another responded to the post writing "Are you introducing diet culture to your infant child? Don't do that!".

While many fans were disappointed with Khloe mentioning a diet and children in the same comment, other fans defended her.

One user wrote "Everyone is getting so upset for no reason. Children should be exposed to healthy eating at an early age, their are to many children in this country that are overweight."

Another Twitter account wrote "People need to take a chill pill. Obviously this is a joke. She is having fun with her kid and niece. Leave well alone. She is not promoting calorie counting for kids".

Khloe has not responded to the backlash she has received over the photo of True & Chi.
