Hyde is known for working with numerous celebrities including Kardashian, Childish Gambino, Jhené Aiko and Ariana Grande, the latter of whom has also spoken out on the allegations.
The accusations against Hyde surfaced last weekend when Los Angeles-based model Sunnaya Nash shared screenshots of alleged conversations with Hyde.
Nash claims that Hyde offered her a free photoshoot in exchange for nude photos. When she declined, he said he’d charge her $2,000 for a shoot unless she sent him nude photos first.
Th above exchange has since gone viral, with the hashtag #CancelMarcusHyde trending online. Hyde has since deleted his Instagram account.
Kim posted a response on Instagram, saying she was "deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed" by the allegations made against her frequent collaborator.
“I have been reading all of the messages and stories from women regarding inappropriate and inexcusable behavior of a photographer that I have worked with in the past,” Kardashian, 38, wrote.
“My own experiences have always been professional, and I am deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed to learn that other women have had very different experiences.”
She continued, “I stand in full support of every woman’s right to not be harassed, asked or pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with. We cannot allow this type of behavior to go unnoticed and I applaud those who speak out.”
Last October, when Hyde was involved in a serious car crash in Malibu, Kim and husband Kanye West reportedly donated $25K to Hyde and his family while he was recovering. She also asked her followers to pray for him.
Grande, 26, also spoke out on the allegations, writing, “I have just read some shocking and really heart-breaking stories. I hate that this is a conversation.
"Please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to.”
