Lil Reese shot: Chicago drill rapper reportedly in 'critical condition'

Rapper Lil Reese was reportedly shot whilst in his car in Illinois.

According to ABC7 Chicago, rapper Lil Reese was shot in the neck whilst travelling in his car in his home state of Illinois.

The 26-year-old rapper whose real name is Tavares Taylor, best known for his work alongside Chicago Drill rapper Chief Keef, is reportedly in a critical condition following the alleged shooting after being taken to hospital by an unknown person before police arrived at the scene.

Fellow rapper Lil Durk posted a cryptic update on Twitter which simply read 'Reese good' with a heart emoji, but his message only made fans even more confused about the situation.

One user replied 'Mannn I was finna have a breakdown' whilst another quizzed Durk's account of the situation and wrote 'Is he really good?'.

According to reports Lil Reese was transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and remains there as he continues to recover from the shooting incident.
