Kano Performs New Song 'New Banger', Chats New Music And Drake

Kano is back and sounding better than ever.

Kano dropped by Capital XTRA to chat through his new song 'New Banger', his acting career, and possibly working with Drake.

Speaking on the new track, which Kano performed exclusively for 'The Norte Show', Kano said: "The feedback has been amazing and positive so I'm happy about it right now." 

On his appearance in the Channel 4 show Topboy, Kano confessed to having to audition several times for different characters. "They were like "we like you" but I had to prove to them. So I went up like 4 times."

But it paid off because, not only was Topboy a hit, but also Drake was a huge fan - Instagraming a photo to his followers. "He was a massive fan of the show and…tried to get in contact. He wanted to make the third [series] happen."

Kano is celebrating 10 years in the music industry. His debut album 'Home Sweet Home' was released in 2010.
