Remy Ma has reignited her feud with Nicki Minaj.
Remy Ma has reignited her feud with Nicki Minaj on a new diss track alongside Lil Kim.
The new song, called ‘Wake Me Up’, hears Remy Ma pay homage to Lil Kim over a thumping instrumental.
“If Peter Piper pecked ’em, I bet you Remy ducked ’em,” she raps in a similar style to Lil Kim. “I told you not to touch ’em / It’s not up for discussion.”
She then takes indirect shots at Nicki Minaj: “You fake-ass b*tch, you owe homage, pay that sh*t! Spray that fif', the crown, I'mma take that sh*t 'Cause you a clown and Homey don't play that sh*t!”
Remy then takes more direct jabs at Nicki’s rumoured relationship with Nas.
“I heard he lay that d*ck, you let him filet that fish, You just met 'im, how he bae that quick? I'll say it to your face, don't gotta relay that sh*t, If Nick-ole a Kid-man, OJ that b*tch!”
While Lil Kim adds an auto-tuned verse of her own.
The new track samples Roberta Flack’s 'Hey, That’s No Way to Say Goodbye,' which was the same sample used on Lil Kim’s 1996 song ‘Queen B*tch’ featuring The Notorious BIG.
Remy Ma and Lil Kim have already shot the music video for ‘Wake Me Up’, which is the lead single from her first solo album in 12 years, ‘7 Winters & 6 Summers’.
The album is set for release in early 2018.
