Rapper The Game has taken to Instagram on the anniversary of an horrific experience. The rapper detailed the incident in where he got shot 5 times.
The Game took to Instagram to reflect on a horrific time in his life and encountered an experience that was life changing. The rapper detailed his experience of getting shot on the anniversary of the day that it took place.

The West Coast rapper was struck five times by enemy gunfire and was lucky enough to still survive. Since then, the "Hate It Or Love It" rapper has learned to be ever more thankful and grateful for life.
On the anniversary of his shooting (1st Oct) The Game reflected on the moment he could have lost his life.
The 39 year-old rapper typed a lengthy heartfelt paragraph, reflecting on his experience. The Game shared an old video on Instagram.
"OCTOBER 1ST 2001 ‼️ 18 years since I was in a coma after getting shot 5 times in the dope spot," wrote the rapper on his Instagram feed.
"I look at this video of the younger me & I can’t do anything but thank God for the opportunity to have a second chance. All I knew was Cedar Block Piru !!!!" he wrote.
The Game continued "I’m tellin y’all, I was a real f*ck up... I didn’t go nowhere without 3 guns on me... I used to play basketball wit a glock on my waist in the holster... Compton made me that way."
He revealed the foster system wouldn't let him go back to his mother, and once he did reunite with her, he was so different, that she wanted nothing to do with him.
"I didn’t have any children when I got shot now I have 3 & their [sic] doing amazing in life," he says about his own kids.
The rapper added "Back then, I didn’t care if I lived or died & that was normal to me. I never expected nor cared to live past 25 years old. I literally didn’t give a f*ck !!!!".
"My childhood was rough.... sometimes I do not know how I made it out of all I’ve been through... but, I did... & I guess that’s the only important part of my story at this point in life" he wrote.
The Game finished off his testimony by saying "I’m here..... & I look at my kids & they have no idea what I went through so they could be here & have what they have".
Many fans flooded his comments with "Happy survival day" and well wishes. Fans also congratulated the rapper for coming such a long way and being a good dad to his kids.
