T.I.'s daughter Deyjah Harris deletes social media accounts after "hymen-checking" controversy

T.I's 18-year-old daughter, Deyjah Harris has deleted her social media accounts. This comes after her father revealed he goes doctors with her to get her hymen checked.
Since T.I. revealed that he goes to the doctors with his daughter, Deyjah Harris, to check her hymen, the Atlanta rapper has received backlash.

Much of the conversation around the topic has been about T.I's parenting, his "possessive and controlling" behaviours, but not much about how his daughter feels about the situation.
Over the weekend, fans pointed out that Deyjah Harris had deactivated her social media accounts. Before the 18 year-old deleted her profiles, she thanked her followers for supporting her during this time of public embarrassment.
Prior to deleting her accounts, Deyjah unfollowed her father, her stepmother Tiny Harris, and stepsister Zonnique Pullins on social media.
Deyjah also liked tweets which suggested she didn't agree with her father taking her to get her hymen checked.
T.I. caused viral controversy after he revealed that he takes his daughter to the gynecologist to "check her hymen." The rapper claims that he does this to ensure his daughter is still a virgin.
The Atlanta rapper exposed he goes to the doctors with his daughter on the Ladies Like Us podcast."Right after the birthday, we celebrate...usually the day after the party. She's enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: 'Gyno, tomorrow, 9:30,'" Tip said.
He continued "We'll go and sit down, and the doctor will come and talk, and you know, the doctors maintain a high level of professionalism."
"He's like, 'Well, you know, sir: In order for me to share information...' I say, 'Deyjah they want you to sign this...so we can share information. Is there anything that you would not want me to know?'" He then recalled asking the doctor to "just check the hymen please and give me back my results, expeditiously."
Many fans disagreed with T.I publicly speaking on his daughter's hymen. Meanwhile, others defended his stance as a father.
