Travis Scott & James Blake Perform 'Stargazing' / 'Stop Trying To Be God' / 'Sicko Mode' | 2018 VMAs
Travis wants everyone to know which album is number one right now...
Travis Scott appeared to send a clear message to Nicki Minaj following his incredible performance at the 2018 MTV VMAs.
The Houston rapper delivered a stunning trippy medley of new songs from his album ‘Astroworld’ in front of a packed celebrity audience at Radio City Music Hall, including girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
He began his set with ‘Stargazing’, before transitioning into ‘Stop Trying To Be God’ alongside James Blake.
As Travis Scott was flanked by a crowd of dancers, he performed his Drake collaboration ‘Sicko Mode’.
At the end of his set, the rapper paid tribute to late legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin, before indirectly sending a message to Nicki Minaj.
“Astroworld No. 1 right now, MTV VMAs make some noise!”
Interestingly, Nicki Minaj had claimed earlier this week that she called Travis Scott and he had accepted that her new album ‘Queen’ was the real No. 1 album this week on the Billboard Charts.
However it appears Travis Scott has now changed his mind.

The pair were scheduled to sit within inches of each other at the MTV VMA awards ceremony.
But MTV officials reportedly changed the seating plans moments before the event, which resulted in Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner sitting on another side of the room.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj had a very awkward run-in with Kylie Jenner at the awards following their feud.
The pair were on the red carpet at the same time, before Kylie Jenner was ushered out of the way by her team.
