Exclusive: Ty Dolla Sign Reveals He "Played The Bass" On Krept & Konan's 'Freak Of The Week'

Ty Dolla Sign tells Manny Norte about his involvement on Krept & Konan's 'Freak Of The Week'.

Ahead of the release of his debut album ‘Free TC’, Ty Dolla Sign spoke to Manny Norte about his new track Blasé, his musical influences, and police brutality in the US.

The rapper also spoke about his involvement on Krept & Konan's hit single 'Freak Of The Week'.

“I told [DJ] Mustard the whole idea and then he did the beat,” Ty revealed to Manny.

“That's been one of my favourite songs in the whole dancehall genre. I felt that was missing right now.”  

He added: "I told the homie Mustard and he's the biggest producer right now in the game so he was of course he was able to put that together. 

"I'm just glad Krept & Konan did their thing on their with Jeremih."

Ty Dolla Sign’s debut album ‘Free TC’ is expected to be released later this year.
