Wretch 32 Opens Up About Fatherhood and Being a Dad to an 18-year-old

Legendary UK rapper Wretch 32 joined Capital XTRA Breakfast to speak about his new song 'Black and British', as well as what it's like having his son turn 18!

Wretch 32 joined Capital XTRA Breakfast's Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie this morning to speak all about his latest single with Little Simz & Benjamin A.D named Black and British.
The legendary UK rapper, who has been in the game for nearly two decades, reflected on his numerous achievements in the scene, as well as working with new collaborator Little Simz.
He also shared what it is like being a father to two kids - including celebrating his eldest's 18th birthday earlier this year.
Upon the topic of fatherhood, Robert Bruce asked rapper Wretch 32 on how it feels for his son to turn 18-years-old.
Wretch 32 said about his life changing 18 years ago with the arrival of his child that “I knew that life wasn’t just about me, it was someone I had to provide for and was looking up to me.”
“Someone that I am constantly going to have to be there for, and it was a new journey I was embarking on."
On his eldest child Kyrayn becoming an adult, the rapper remarked: "If he’s 18, then that must mean that I am an adult, with bills!"
He also shared that his eldest had passed his driving test, with Wretch 32 saying "In my head he’s ten!" to this life achievement.
Wretch 32 also shares younger daughter, Skye, who was born in 2011, with his ex-girlfriend Ashlee.
